PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain program information from broadcasting, and transmit program information to meet retrieving condition by E-mail. SOLUTION: In a digital broadcasting receiver 1, a received digital broadcasting signal is led out as a TS signal with a tuner 3, and is separated into each necessary packet in a DEMUX part 4. Video and audio information is decoded with an MPEG decoder 5. Necessary graphic images are multiplexed in an OSD multiplexing means 6, and outputted from an on-line AV output terminal 7. After the program information is separated in the DEMUX part 4 and analyzed with a CPU 9, and necessary information is recorded in a storage device 8. The CPU 9 retrieves program information to meet set contents from the recorded program information, and reserves the information in the storage device 8. At the mail transmitting time, retrieved result E-mail is formed from the program information preserved in the storage device 8, connected to an internet provider 13 and transmitted automatically.
