PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate housing case where a substrate is prevented from being caught and fixed to a prescribed position when it is housed in a case while guided by a guide rib. SOLUTION: A substrate housing case 10 is provided where a substrate housing part 16 is provided which comprises an open end 14 at one end and houses a substrate 12, and the substrate 12 is guided and inserted by a guide rib 18 protruding between the substrate housing part 16 and the open end 14 before being fixed on the substrate housing part 16. The guide rib 18 comprises a tapered part 18a where the thickness from the wall surface of the substrate housing case increases as advancing from the open end 14 to the substrate housing part 16, a bent part 18b which is bent with a prescribed curvature (r) in cross section and continues to the tapered part 18a, and a vertical part 18c formed between the bent part and the substrate housing part.
