PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsional vibrator, which has a crystal plate that can be easily cut, and is, easily manufactured, can oscillate by a simple oscillation circuit, has a simple leg shape and good temperature characteristics of a resonance frequency. SOLUTION: The torsional vibrator comprises tree leg forks. The vibrator can suppress a primary vibration in a plane from its vibration characteristics. Accordingly, the vibrator having good temperature characteristics and being easily manufactured is obtained without using a complicated leg shape or without using a complicated means for executing a cutting out angle of the crystal at two axes.
