<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting and sewing method with respect to the three- dimensional collar foldback or the like of a garment based on both tension and stretch by such a means that the slanting torsion phenomenon of a fabric is converted to tension by making use of the rebound of cloth coming out torsionally through superposing biased cloths on each other crosswise and utilizing the resultant rebound derived from both left and right torsions. SOLUTION: This method comprises the following practice: fabrics each woven at 90 deg. angle longitudinally/transversely are cut at 45 deg. angle into biased fabrics and both the left and right rebounds thereof are put to stretch balance with the tensions in the bias left longitudinal direction and right longitudinal direction by a means of bringing one direction of a sewing machine to an average feed mode; next, mutual biased padding cloths by bias cross superposition and stretch submaterials (padding cloths, lining cloths, tapes) capable of left tension rebound and right rebound of the tensions of both biased tape and biased lining cloth serve to help a face main fabric through stretch restoration.</p> |
