PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To trim a gas turbine engine at real time for providing a desired amount of propulsion force in a control system. SOLUTION: The control system includes a control device connected to the engine for receiving an input related to the engine states from the engine. The control device includes a processor and a nonvolatile memory connected to the processor. The processor is programmed to execute the control logic. An engine power schedule expressing the value of variables to be controlled is stored in the memory.
