IR RAY TRANSMITTING FILM AND IR RAY SENSOR COVER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IR ray transmission film having both of transmitting property for IR rays and barrier property for an IR sensor body and having decoration property with bright appearance like a plating film, and to provide an IR sensor cover and an IR sensor unit by using the film. SOLUTION: The IR ray transmission film 10 has a layered structure produced by coating a mirror coating layer 2 with a color material layer 3. The mirror coating layer 2 is obtained by laminating a high refractive index material layer and a low refractive index material layer. The color layer 3 contains a coloring material and has functions to absorb visible rays and to transmit IR rays. The transmittance for IR rays of the film 10 is >=80%. The IR ray sensor cover is obtained by covering an IR transmitting substrate 1 with the IR ray transmission film 10 and has >=70% transmittance for IR rays.
