PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where appropriate paper ejection can be carried out even when a multiple number of paper ejecting parts with different sequence of pages are provided and appropriate paper ejection is carried out even for especially firm paper, and an image forming method. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, when feeding paper from a manual feeding tray 35, the first page image is transferred to a back surface of a paper from an intermediate transfer belt 10 and ejected to a paper ejecting tray 44 on a side of the device after transferring an image for a second page on the top surface of the paper from a photoreceptor 1. Both side printing where the pages are aligned, even with the thick paper, is obtained by the same image forming and transfer control for the second piece of paper onward. |
