PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller capable of improving operability for selecting information contents. SOLUTION: The remote controller 101 is provided with a memory card 102 recording a banner file. Source information indicating a source for acquiring information contents and title information indicating contents are recorded in the banner file. When a button on a key operation part 106 is depressed, a CPU 113 successively displays the title information on an LCD 104, and when a 'determination' button is depressed, the source information corresponding to the title information is read out. A transmission part 108 wirelessly transmits the source information to an information control device. The control device acquires the information contents in accordance with the source information and displays the acquired information contents on the display.
