PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a device being a portable thin book. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a case body, a microcomputer in the case body, a detachable memory, a temporary keeping memory in the case body for temporarily storing data supplied from the detachable memory, a keyboard on the upper surface of the case body, a liquid crystal display panel operably connected to the microcomputer and the matrix of sensors arranged side by side on the liquid crystal display panel. Plural pages stored in the temporary keeping memory are simultaneously displayed on the liquid crystal display panel.
