PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management system which can improve the reliability of data by preventing request information sent when the operation of a database is requested from illegally being deleted. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with a host computer 1 which is connected to multiple operator terminals and has a prescribed database 1Ac and an arithmetic part; and this host 1 has an operation request storage means 1Aa which stores a request to operate the database 1Ac from a prescribed operator terminal 21 to another operator terminal 22 and an acknowledgement request storage means 1Ab which stores an acknowledgement request record 5 of a request to delete the operation request record 4 made by the operator terminal 21 and the arithmetic part is equipped with an operation request receiving function of receiving the operation request record 4, an operation request display function of displaying the operation request record 4 on the operator terminal 22, and an acknowledgement request receiving function of receiving the acknowledgement request record 5.
