PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system capable of inhibiting any other operator from using equipment, and ensuring security without deteriorating operability. SOLUTION: This security system is provided with a user authenticating means 140 for discriminating the validity/invalidity of the use of equipment, a presence confirming means 150 for confirming that a user whose use of equipment is discriminated to be valid by the user authenticating means 140 is present in the operable range of the equipment, and a security control means 160 for permitting the user of the equipment while it is confirmed that the user whose use of equipment is discriminated to be valid by the presence confirming means 150.
