PURPOSE: A purchasing and management system and method for pets using the Internet is provided to make users to purchase pets as low price and manage them easily. CONSTITUTION: The method consists of client systems(10) and server system(20). The systems are connected using the Internet. The client systems have an email client and a web browser to communicate other clients and the server system. The server system consists of DB server(21), which stores information of pets, web server(22), which provides web pages for information like species, origin, price, age, height, weight, etc, information search server(23), and billing confirmation server(24). When a user connects the Internet, the user can request search information to the server system. If the server finds, matched pets, the server sends the information with video or images to the user. If the user wants to purchase any pet, the user sends request to purchase and server authorizes the user. After the user pays for the pet, the service provider sends the pet to the user. The user can buy insurance for the pet. The service provider also support management as feeding, pregnancy, washing and so on. |
