PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect position, size, and inclination of a plurality of objects from binary images showing objects. SOLUTION: A position/size/inclination detector 44 inputs an edge information image 113 and outputs a duplicated information image 132 and a travel origin duplicated information image 184 as shown in Fig. 3. Moreover, array computing units 100 mounting the expressions expressed by expressions 1 to 24 using digital technique are arranged like a lattice according to the algorithm shown in Fig. 4 to connect the units in the vicinity according to expression 5. The array computing unit 100 shown in Fig. 8 is composed of a processor 101 for detecting position, size, and inclination of an object, a memory 102 for storing neighbourhood parameter, function, and calculation data, and a controller 103 for communicating with a neighbourhood array computing unit 100 to transfer data efficiently by piling up the controllers 103 as shown in Fig. 16. |
