Process for the manufacture of prosthetics, especially dental prosthetics in which a fibre or ribbon is impregnated with resin and wound onto a prosthetic imprint. Process (P) for the fabrication of prosthetic parts especially dental ones, comprising the following stages: (a) winding a woven or non-woven ribbon or filament (1) impregnated with a polymerizable resin, by the application of pressure (at least) and without polymerisation onto a prosthetic imprint until the desired thickness is obtained (b) polymerisation of the resin under appropriate pressure. An INDEPENDENT claim is included for a distributor to implement process (P) comprising (i) cylindrical reel (2) containing an orifice (3) able to receive an axis of rotation (ii) filament (1) wound at the periphery of reel (2) and (iii) a device (14) (a) containing reel (2) for winding the filament (1) and comprising a first external half shell comprising on its periphery (6), an opening (7) allowing the passage of the filament or the ribbon (1) and an opening in its centre for an axis of rotation (4), (b) a second internal half shell (9) (with a central hole ) comprising an opening on its periphery that allows passage of filament (1) when placed opposite opening (7), and (c) a rotation axis (4) that engages the openings and provides an axis of rotation for the reel (2) and comprises a means of opening/closing and/or tightening (4) for the half shells (5) and (9). The reel (2) is to be placed, on the axis of rotation (4), between the two half shells (5) and (9), which are encased one in the other.
