PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating variable resistor which has a long service life, can smoothly rotate over a long period, and is superior performance. SOLUTION: In this rotating variable resistor, a bearing section 2c integrated with terminals 2 works as the rotation guide of a rotating body 7. Consequently, the center of rotation of the rotating body 7 can be formed with accuracy, as compared with the conventional example. In addition, when the rotating body 7 rotates, a slider 8 slides along the same locus on a resistor 5 and the performance of this variable resistor is improved.
