PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal fixing structure for high-voltage variable resistor in which a lead wire can be connected to an outside connecting electrode, without using solder and in a addition, the outside connecting electrode can be positioned and fixed stably. SOLUTION: The outside connecting terminal 29 is constituted of a bar-like terminal and has a flange section 29b in the intermediate section and an outside connecting section 29c extruded outward from a terminal base section 24 at one end. In the terminal block section 24, first grooves 34a, 34b, and 34c are formed from one end to the other end in the longitudinal direction, and a second groove 35 is formed in the transversal direction. When the end section of the lead wire 8c led out from a circuit section is inserted into the bottom section of the grooves 34a, 34b, and 34c, and the shaft section 29a and flange section 29b of the terminal 29 are respectively press-fitted in the first grooves 34a, 34b, and 34c and second groove 35; and the lead wire 8c is pressed against the bottom sections of the first grooves 34a, 34b, and 34c by the flange section 29b of the terminal 29 and electrically connected to the terminal 29.
