PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and positively attach and support a brush body on a coil spring in a brush for an earth used when removing electrical charge of a recording/reproducing head in a magnetic recording/reproducing device such as a VTR, particularly the brush for an earth with the brush body attached and supported on the coil spring. SOLUTION: This brush for an earth with the brush body 1 attached and supported on one end side of the coil spring 2 is characterized by that the brush body 1 is pressed in an attaching side end part 2a and fixed to it by forming a diameter of a brush body attaching side end part 2a of the coil spring 2 the same or slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the brush body 1. It is preferable to form a diameter of the coil spring 2 other than the attaching side end part 2a smaller than the diameter of the attaching side end part 2a.
