PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack package and the battery pack which has a sufficiently high strength so that a leakage of an electrolytic solution or an exposure of the battery is not caused, and which is light in weight and has a high insulating property and in which a manufacturing cost is low. SOLUTION: In a square-shaped sheath body which is composed of an insulating resin and whose one face is opened as for the battery pack package, and at a corner of the edge line part where a bottom and a side wall intersect, a reinforcing material to reinforce this part is installed. Further, the battery pack has this battery pack package.
