摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system capable of suppressing the increment of calling channel switching frequency due to the increment of moving speed of a mobile station, reducing the load of the whole communication network and improving the efficiency of communication. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a communication circuit constituted of forming a communication network by overlapping a first layer consisting of cells of narrow radio communication covering areas and second layer consisting of cells of wide radio communication covering areas wider than that of the first layer and a mobile station connected to a communication line so as to communicate with each other and constituted so as to handover the base station of a cell in the selected layer.
