SOLUTION: In this variable displacement pump 10, an inside diameter of a part forming an intermediate section 23A between a suction section and a discharge section in a pump chamber 23 in inside diameter of a cam ring 22 is formed to be negative gradient curve using an end part of a suction port as a starting point, and a complete round curve and the negative gradient curve are mutually connected by a higher-order curve.
