PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning machine having a constitution in that a yarn travels at the inside of a cylindrical body for increasing the rotating speed of its spindle by leaps and bound, so as to make a yarn-linking work and traveler-changing work easy. SOLUTION: This spinning machine is provided by fixing a ring flange 5 for guiding the sliding of the traveler as demountable at the lower part of the cylindrical body 4 lift up and down as surrounding the outer circumference of a bobbin B inserted into a spindle 2. The inner diameter of upper part of the ring flange 5 is formed as somewhat smaller than the outer diameter of the cylindrical body 4, and fitted and fixed with the lower part of the cylindrical body 4. At the lower part of the ring flange 5, a flange part for guiding the sliding of the traveler is installed so as to slide the traveler mounted to the flange part in a posture of inclining and positioning its lower side in the further outside of the outer circumferential surface, i.e., the part of the traveler is positioned further outside of the outer circumferential surface of the flange which is the cylindrical part of the ring flange 5. In the upper direction of the cylindrical body 4, a snell wire 11 for guiding the yarn Y into the cylindrical body 4 is arranged as capable of being lift up and down by having a prescribed interval with the cylindrical body 4.
