PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a controller for a vaporizing type humidifier capable of taking a time originally necessary for a humidifying drive by enabling optimizing of a sterilizing time by changing the sterilizing time according to a temperature of a hot water and shortening of a necessary minimum limit of its sterilization drive time. SOLUTION: The controller for the vaporizing type humidifier comprises a drive switch 11, a blowing fan 6, a vaporizing element 3, a heater 4 for heating water in a water tank 2, a temperature sensor 14 for detecting a temperature of the hot water supplied to the element 3, and a microcomputer 9. The controller controls the operation of the humidifier by the microcomputer 9, supplies the hot water to the element 3 and sterilizes the water. In this case, the microcomputer 9 controls to change the length of the time of the sterilizing time in response to the temperature of the hot water supplied to the element 3 detected by the sensor 14 at the sterilizing time. |
