PURPOSE: A unit pixel structure of an LCD element color filter is provided to add G pixels to R, G, B pixels configuring a unit pixel, thereby implementing a high quality display as well as reducing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: In a unit pixel(15) of a color filter(11), a red pixel(19), a blue pixel(23), and two green pixels(21) are set. Between each of the pixels, a black matrix(17) is formed. Between the two green pixels, the black matrix(17) is inserted. Upper and lower sides of the red pixel(19), many R(red) pixels(19) make a stripe. Many G(green) pixels(21) make a stripe. Many B(blue) pixels(23) make a stripe.
