PURPOSE: Provided are a lithium secondary battery and an electrode plate assembly thereof folded into the shape of waves, which have improved convenience of manufacture and performance. CONSTITUTION: The electrode plate assembly contains an anode plate(22) coated with an anode active material, a cathode plate(21) coated with a cathode active material, and a separator(23) laid between the anode plate(22) and the cathode plate(21) and is produced by laminating one piece of the anode plate(22), one piece of the separator(23), and one piece of the cathode plate(21) and folding the laminated anode plate(22), cathode plate(21), and separator(23) into the shape of waves and then extracting a plasticizer to keep the folded formation.
