PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate the position of an optical sheet or the like in simple constitution in a surface light source device. SOLUTION: This surface light source device is equipped with a linear light source 5; a light guide plate 4 guiding the light from the linear light source 5 to the whole surface; a lamp reflector 6 reflecting the light from the linear light source 5 in the direction of the light guide plate 4; the optical sheet 3 arranged on an outgoing surface of the light guide plate 4; and a frame 1 regulating the positions of the linear light source 5, the light guide plate 4, the lamp reflector 6, and the optical sheet 3. The position in the surface direction of the optical sheet 3 is regulated with the side surface part of a projection 2 formed in a part of the frame. |
