<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in the methods and apparatuses for controlling the speed of electric three-wheelers in which, since the up-hill grade and the down-hill grade of the road surfaces are detected using an inclination angle sensor, fixing parts therefor must be also considered in the inventory of parts, this is one of factor for increase of cost. SOLUTION: Deceleration characteristics, corresponding to the speed when brakes are applied, are extracted from a deceleration characteristic table before decelerating operation. Changes in speed at a certain time, after the application of the brakes, is extracted. Based on the variation in speed, deceleration characteristics are re-extracted from the above deceleration characteristic table before carrying out decelerating of a drive motor.</p> |
