PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supervisory camera system that is downsized and which can reduce the cost. SOLUTION: The supervisory camera system is provided with an imaging means, that is placed rockably, a tilt mechanism section 16 that turns the imaging means, and a turning control means that operates the tilt mechanism section 16 to place the imaging means at a 1st position, where a face of a user 12 is photographed or a 2nd position at which a thing within a reach of a user is photographed. Since one set of the imaging means can selectively photograph the face of the user 12 and objects within the reach of the user, the space in which the imaging means is to be installed can be reduced, so as to make the supervisory camera system compact and to reduce the cost of the supervisory camera system.
