PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device that executes chromakey synthesis processing at high accuracy without adherence to a color used for an object. SOLUTION: The photographing device 1 is provided with a photographing section 10 that photographs an object, a background section 30 that is placed behind the object OB opposite to the photographing section 10 at photographing to use chromakey synthesis processing for synthesizing an object image obtained by photographing at least the object OB by the photographing section 10 with a background image and displays a uniform color, and a control section 40 that controls the color displayed on the background section 30 in response to the object image. The photographing device 1 applies preliminary photographing to the object OB and the background section 30 on which the 1st color is displayed, decides a 2nd color to be displayed on the background section 30 on the basis of the image data of a 1st object obtained through the preliminary photographing and applies main photographing to the object OB and the background section 30 on which the 2nd color is displayed.
