The manual lifting carriage is designed for lifting all types of loads to allow access under the load. It consists of a lifting ramp (2), mounted to pivot (4) at the end of a lever (3), such that when positioned in front of the load, the lever lies roughly vertical and the lifting ramp rests on the ground in order to slide under the load when it is lifted. The lever is lowered and occupies a roughly horizontal position and the ramp, carrying the load is raised, until the free end of the lever is almost on the ground.
