摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor and control the usable memory capacity by controlling memories in a work area and in an accumulation area in a digital image processing device. SOLUTION: Writing start addresses and using capacities of the work area 10 and the accumulation area 30 are controlled, and the usable memory capacity is monitored from the difference between a work area lowermost address 103 and an accumulation area uppermost address 106, and execution and suspension are controlled in each operation mode. When an unnecessary memory [work 2] is generated, the uppermost address 105 of a work 3 is designated as a start address, and the data is moved directly without evacuating the data to another region, to thereby quicken memory control and to facilitate start address control. If a vacant area 20 does not have enough allowance, the number of pages of the work area 10 having plural pages is reduced, and the operation is continued with reduced productivity, and then the number of the pages of the work area 10 is restored when enough allowance is generated.
