<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To so form a branch in a path to eliminate the influences of steps when a roller crosses a linear motor secondary side to pass through the branch. SOLUTION: Linear motor transportation equipment 101 comprises a track 2 forming a path, a vehicle 3 that travels along the track 2, a linear motor primary side 15A installed on the vehicle 3, the linear motor secondary side 15B installed on the track 2, and rollers 8 that are installed on the vehicle 3 and rotate on the rolling contact surface 4 on the track ensured on the sides of the linear motor secondary side 15B. A branch is formed in the path, and a plate material 108 is placed on the track which plate material covers steps that the above rollers 8 encounter, when the rollers cross the linear motor secondary side 15B to pass through the branch. The plate material 108 is made of a material that does not block the electromagnetic action between the linear motor primary side 15A and the secondary side 15B.</p> |
