<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly recover valuable metals from a waste solution containing metal ions without generating chlorine by an electrochemical process, to provide an electrochemical process by which electric power is generated simultaneously with the recovery of valuable metals and to provide a process for simultaneously regenerating an etching solution. SOLUTION: As to this electrochemical process, in the electrochemical recovery of metals from a solution containing metallic ions, a substance causing oxidation reaction is fed to the anode, and simultaneously, based on the reduction of the metallic ions, the electrodeposition of metals is generated at the cathode.</p> |
