[Class 64 (i)] Water supplied from a cold main 12 to the bottom of a storage chamber where it is heated by an immersion heater 15 is discharged under pressure into a chamber 18 in which the heated water is mixed with cold water taken directly from the main through a pipe 20. A thermostat 16 cuts off the current supply to the heater when the water is at a predetermined high temperature, and water is discharged through a relief valve 24 when the pressure becomes excessive.
