PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for assisting settlement business and custody business by quickly processing a large amount of stock certificates, bonds and securities other than the stock certificates and the bonds in transactions for securities, especially for stock certificates. SOLUTION: An OCR is included in a terminal device, an intermediate processor shapes stock certificates data in which the number of digits is irregular, transaction safety is improved and the smooth transactions of securities market are promoted by collating the stock certificates data with the information of stock certificates in trouble held by the intermediate processor. |
