<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately demodulate transmission data even when the frequency of a carrier wave for a pilot signal are different from the frequency of a carrier wave for a data signal under a multi-path environment. SOLUTION: At a transmission side, pilot signals are diffused by a patrol type serial system based on a complete complementary system constituted as a pair, and transmission data signals are diffused in the patrol type serial series. The signal obtained by diffusing the pilot signals is frequency modulated with the first carrier wave, a signal obtained by diffusing the transmission data signals is frequency modulated with the second carrier wave, and the two modulated signals are added so that a transmission signal can be generated. On the other hand, at a reception side, a first reception base band signal is demodulated from the received signal based on a first local signal, and a second reception base band signal is demodulated from the received signal based on a second local signal. The first reception base band signal is inversely diffused by a cyclic zero insertion serial system so that a pilot response signal and a data response signal can be obtained, and the transmission data signal is demodulated from the data response signal according to a phase correction pilot response signal generated from the pilot response signal.</p> |
