PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacture cost in a rotation driving device of a system using no gear. SOLUTION: This device is the optimum device for rotation driving a development device and the like of a color copying machine and is provided with a motor 1 as a rotation driving source; a speed-reduction device 2; and a speed detection mechanism 3. A rotation of the motor 1 is inputted to the speed- reduction device 2 and the speed-reduction device 2 carries out a torque transmission by a friction contact of one or more rotation member and speed-reduces the rotation from the motor 1 to output. The speed detection mechanism 3 detects an output rotation speed of the speed-reduction device 2. At least one member of a plurality of rotation members of the speed-reduction device 2 is a rotation member with an elastic body having a structure body constituting a part other than a friction contact part and an elastic body constituting the friction contact part.
