PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a means to simply execute a pit for a fixed foot warmer at a low cost in an existing Japanese-style room. SOLUTION: A floor plate (13) in a spot where a pit is built is cut, a frame body (1) is fixed at a cut surface, and lock parts (18) at the two ends of a support member (2) are placed on a frame body (1). Thereafter, a bottom plate (6) and a side plate (7) are assembled at the internal part of a support cage (19) consisting of a plurality of support members (2). Since by employing a system described above, members are previously standardized and a construction method can be standardized, the pit can be constructed simply and at a low cost.
