<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device being inexpensive, simple and excellent in durability and also which is provided with a high precision position detecting function without lowering visibility. SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display device which is constituted by sealing liquid crystal between a thin film transistor array substrate 2 and a counter substrate 1, light receiving elements and light emitting elements are provided respectively on the thin film transistor array substrate 2 and the back of the substrate 2 and, moreover, reflecting mirrors for leading rays of light from the light emitting elements to the light receiving elements are provided on the surface side of the counter substrate 1.</p> |
