PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing medical information by which an extreme high definition medical image and medical information can be distributed and displayed at high speed through a network for reading a medical image without giving the sense of incompatibility to a doctor. SOLUTION: While respectively attaching a display device capable of displaying medical information and sub-databases 5-1 to 5-3 capable of saving medical image information to client system terminals 2-1 to 2-3, when the medical image is saved in the sub-database attached to each of client system terminals, a database server 1 saves saving place information thereof and information attached to the medical image and when the request of medical information display is received from the client system terminal, the relevant medical information on the sub-database of the client system terminal saving the relevant medical information is transferred from the saving place information to the relevant client system terminal.
