<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain menu display capable of arriving at a desired command with the minimum key operations with the satisfactory retrievability of a command. SOLUTION: When another item is selected instead of a certain item in the same menu, the display position of the menu itself is changed so that the newly selected item can be displayed at the displayed position of the item which is selected until that moment. Therefore, the selected item can be always displayed at the same position on a screen. Also, the menu of each hierarchy is displayed by preliminarily selecting a command which is executed at last or a group including the command, and each selected item is displayed so as to be lined up in a straight line on the screen so that the previously executed command can easily be retrieved and executed.</p> |
