PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device which can reduce the cost of the parts of a stationary side guide body and can exactly center disks, even if their thicknesses vary. SOLUTION: This guide groove 4 of the stationary guide body 3 consists of a deep groove part 41 of an approximate V-shape in section, which is formed with slopes 41a and 41b facing each other and is made to abut the angle of the peripheral edge of a disk 11 on both slopes 41a and 41b and a shallow groove part 42, which is formed continuously with this deep groove part 41 and abuts the outer peripheral surface at the peripheral edge of the disk 1 on its inside base surface 42a. When at least the outer peripheral surface of the disk 1 abuts against the inner base surface 41a of the shallow groove part 42, disk 1 is positioned on the disk drive part by the stationary guide body 3 and a drive side guide body 5. As a result, the disk 1 entrapped in the deep groove part 41 and the shallow groove part 42 hardly gives rise to slippages during transportation and the disk 1 may be positioned in the radial direction by the inner base surface 42a of the shallow groove part 42.
