PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of effectively discharging static electricity which adversely affects or destructs a liquid crystal display element, a transistor and the inside of a driving circuit. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 11 is constructed in such a way that the electric charge movable shortest distance X from an edge part 40 with an exposed conductor of a bezel (a conductive material) 14 to a surface of a gate signal driving circuit 23 is shorter than the electric charge movable shortest distance Y from the edge part 40 with the exposed conductor of the conductive member to a gate signal line g where the characteristic quality of the image display device is impaired by applying static electricity.
