PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trouble for operation by making a speech shorter while sufficiently securing voice recognition capability. SOLUTION: The voice input device which computes matching degree between a user's speech and a recognition object word in a voice dictionary 31 through voice recognition and extracts the recognition object word having the highest matching degree from the voice dictionary 31 to output an operation command to equipment 47 to be operated is provided with a remote controller 71 which commands remote operation by sending an electromagnetic wave to receivers 63, 65, and 67 provided in the equipment 37 to be operated such as a radio set, a CD player, and air conditioner mounted on a vehicle, respectively; and the recognition object words in the voice dictionary 31 are weighted more as the reception intensity of the receiver of the equipment 47 to be operated that the remote controller 71 is directed to is larger. |
