PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the provision of a monitoring system for a hot-water supplier, which is capable of effecting simply remote monitoring through a telephone circuit even in a conventional hot-water supplier. SOLUTION: The monitoring system 1 for the hot-water supplier is provided with the hot-water supplier 2, a control unit for controlling the heating amount of a heating means based on the detecting contents of a temperature detector, a safety device or the like, a remote control device 3 provided at the outside of the hot-water supplier to indicate or/and inform whole or one part of contents of the condition of hot-water supplier 2 controlled by the control unit, a signal wire 41 for communication to transmit and receive a signal between the hot-water supplier 2 and the remote control device 3, a monitoring device 4 for the hot-water supplier, which monitors the condition of the hot-water supplier 2, a recognizing means 5 for recognizing the condition of the hot-water supplier 2 by receiving the contents of communication transmitted or received through the monitoring device 4 of the hot-water supplier and a transmitting means 6 for transmitting the condition of the hot-water supplier 2, recognized by the recognizing means 5, to a receiver, storing the condition of the hot-water supplier 2 which is recognized through the recognizing means 5, through the telephone circuit 44. |
