PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform good exposure by matching the transporting speeds of photographic paper by pinching and transporting mechanisms arranged on the upstream side and downstream side of an exposure position with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This device has stepping motors SM and SM which independently drive a drive roller 18 of the pinching and transporting mechanism C1 on the upstream side of transportation on the basis of the exposure position and a drive roller 18 of the pinching and transporting mechanism C2 on the downstream side of transportation on the basis of the exposure position and has an adjusting means for independently adjusting the frequencies of the electric power for driving the respective stepping motors SM and SM.
