PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which displays a stable adjustment result even when a specimen is left for many hours as it is when the specimen in a sample is measured by immunochormatography and in which the specimen can be detected with high sensitivity and to provide an immunoassay apparatus. SOLUTION: In the immunoassay apparatus, an opening is formed in a part which is different from a sample addition part and a signal detection part, and a precise adjustment result can be displayed even when the specimen is left for many hours as it is. One end of a capillary-action inducing member installed in the sample addition part has a structure which covers a marker- ligand holding part. As compared with a conventional method, the specimen can be detected with high sensitivity.
