PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayered optical disk which performs recording or reproducing of signals to or from plural signal recording layers from one disk surface, has the signal recording layer consisting of a phase change type material of a quenching structure on a first substrate and is formed with the signal recording layers in recessed parts having cross erasing characteristics as recording tracks. SOLUTION: This two-layered optical disk is successively formed with the first substrate 101, the first signal recording layer 103, a transparent layer 107, the second signal recording layer 105 and a second substrate 104. The recording tracks consisting of ruggedness are formed on the first signal recording layer 102 of the first substrate and the recording tracks consisting of ruggedness are formed on the second signal recording layer 106 side of the second substrate. The recording and reproducing of the signals to and from the two signal recording layers are carried out through the second substrate 104. The recording tracks of the first substrate are the recessed parts of the first substrate 101. |
