PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical multiplexer/demultiplexer having structure which effectively controls fluctuation of wavelength characteristics caused by temperature change without increasing a transmission loss of transmission light. SOLUTION: The optical multiplexer/demultiplexer is provided with a tapered shape asymmetrical to the optical axis of an output channel waveguide so that respective output channel waveguides which are respectively incorporated in waveguide groups (110, 150) connected to slab waveguides (120, 140) offset focus positional deviations caused by the temperature change of respective channel signals in respective slab waveguides (120, 140). |
