<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform good sealing operation with press fitting, reduce manufacturing and assembling costs and form a throttle element in an inexpensive and compact manner. SOLUTION: The throttle element to be assembled in a passage for guiding a fuel comprises a throttle by which a liquid flow in the throttle element is restricted, the throttle element being formed as an insert having a seal section cooperating with the passage, wherein a flow passage having a throttle is provided between both sides of the seal section and a filter collar forming a circular gap together with the passage is provided in the throttle element. The throttle element with a disc filter to be used in a fuel pump is press fitted into the passage 5 in a casing.</p> |
