PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem of delaying by a quantity of operating ignition timing delay directional force when switched to the ignition timing advance side more than when switched to the ignition timing delay side by a switching response of a valve opening-closing timing control device. SOLUTION: In this valve opening-closing timing control device composed of a timing pulley 1 having partition walls for forming plural hydraulic chambers 8 in an inner peripheral part, a camshaft 4 for opening and closing a suction valve or an exhaust valve for installing vanes 2 for partitioning the hydraulic chambers 8, respective passages 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 10 and 11 for sucking and exhausting hydraulic pressure to hydraulic operating chambers 9 and 9a with the hydraulic chambers 8 partitioned by the vanes 2 respectively as the hydraulic operating chambers 9 and 9a, a hydraulic pressure adjusting means 15 of the hydraulic operating chambers 9 and 9a connected to the passages 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 10 and 11 and a holding mechanism for holding a phase difference between the timing pulley 1 and the camshaft 4, an elastic means 32 is interposed for energizing the camshaft 4 in the ignition timing advance direction to the timing pulley 1.
